Vantage Point Inn - Woodland Hills

I've been here many times since 2022. Great location. Just a basic motel. Smoking rooms! Staff are cool. Very safe area! Walk to many great restaurants. My go to place every time I travel for work and it's always been a good visit.

I was highly impressed by the service at the front desk. When I arrived after a long flight from the East Coast, I found that my booking.com reservation did not reach the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk waited patiently for 90 minutes while I sorted things out with booking.com. Even though the hotel was filling up with walk-ins, he held a room for me so that I wouldn't be stranded at 10 at night.

So I checked in on Saturday afternoon please note that there are no early check-in. You cannot check in until 3 PM. Wow it was so nice. The room was very very clean. The front desk was so so very nice. I got there a little bit early so they went ahead and started checking me in and let me hold my stuff in the office, and 3:05pm I was in my room. What a wonderful staycation time I had the pool was accommodating The Jacuzzi was nice. The grounds are very well kept it was just amazing. I will be back for sure. By the way, the only thing that you might want to do if you're coming for a staycation, bring your own pillows. The pillows were kind of rough to deal with, but that's just minor. Trust me you'll enjoy your staycation.

Nice quite place, swimming pool ,not a big crowded place. Great location with everything you could need close by from little stores to major dept stores plus fast food or nice restaurants . I would definitely recommend Vantage Point

This is a basic 2 star Motel. White comforter, comfy bed, mini refrigerator, tv, and microwave. No coffee maker and an old dark carpet. Small pool. Great location. 18 minute drive to Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Studios. Easy 1 block access to 101 Fwy. Too my surprise when I stayed in Old town Pasadena the distance and time was double to get to Universal. This motel is convenient. Buy gas at Ralph's grocery store. All 5 Chevrons are too costly; almost 1.00 more. Whole foods 1 block away. Ralph's and Sprouts .25 miles away. Target 10 min. Away. Motel is on the busy street. Ask for room that are on the the back side. Mine was 211. I asked for a non smoking room.The check in office offered free coffee or tea and muffins for morning breakfast. Staff were friendly. I stayed 3 nights for New Year's. This motel was 100.00 per night cheaper than the Marriott 1/2 mile away. If you don't care for bells and whistles and feel location is more important; stay here.

We were traveling across Europe and this was by far our favorite hotel. The building has character — high ceilings, old wooden floors, and charming decor. It felt more like a boutique experience than a chain hotel. The staff gave us personalized recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit, and they were spot-on. Breakfast was served in a lovely little courtyard, with fresh coffee and homemade jam. It felt peaceful and authentic, not touristy. I wish we had stayed longer.

Our room was super clean. Service was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The location is pleasant and safe. It's a simple 2 star hotel with a 5 star rating.

I liked both the hotel staff that I met. The fresh muffins and coffee provided in the morning were delicious and a nice touch. The bed in the room was huge, and the room itself was large, just a bit outdated but clean and fine. I also liked the jacuzzi and used it a bit in the morning, though I didn't know how to turn the bubbles on. The pillows were not very soft and uncomfortable And I think it's generally overpriced for how old the rooms are. But overall, we had a fine one night stay
